Hi, I’m Samantha, founder of OhSpeak and a dedicated French teacher specialised in helping expats gain confidence in real-life communication.
I started with Experience the French in 2022, where I helped learners integrate French into their daily lives and overcome the fear of speaking.
Over time, I realised that many expats faced the same challenge across languages: they understand a lot, but struggle to actually speak.
That’s why I created OhSpeak, to help even more expats turn passive knowledge into real, confident communication through practical, conversation-based classes focused on real-life situations.
Romane is available for one-to-one lessons and online French conversation classes.
Originally from Châteauroux and now based in Paris, she has built a rich international and professional background, including experiences in Mexico and Canada (Québec), as well as work in language schools and Alliance Française centres abroad. She also speaks English and Spanish.
These experiences have given her a deep understanding of what it truly means to start from scratch in a new country, and to find your voice in a new language.
Her approach is warm, practical, and 100% communication-focused. No pressure, just real French for real situations. She helps learners overcome the fear of speaking, gain confidence step by step, and feel more comfortable navigating everyday life.
